About Me
As a teacher I offer a Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Arts from the Univeristy of Lethbridge and a Saskatchewan and Alberta Teachers Certificate. With three successful professional internships and a full time teaching contract of valuable classroom experience, I have developed the desire to nurture all students using a holistic approach. I am very confident in my abilty to be a valuable asset to the learning of all students.
My teaching career has always been focused on the success of my students. Through my career I have had great oppourtunities to work with students with different cultural backgrounds and different learning levels, this has made me proficient in creating differentiated and interesting lesson plans to reach every student.
My strenghts include being well prepared, integrating technology, organization, and building strong relationships with my students. I recognize diverse cultures and incorporate these aspects into my daily teaching to further build relationships with my students and create relevant lessons for each and every student. I also keep in consistent contact with parents to promote active participation in the educational process.
I have enjoyed spending time with students outside the traditional classroom setting. This includes coaching a variety of sports, such as volleyball, basketball and soccer, as well as clubs, such as the Wellness and Science Clubs. I enjoy these times with students because it is a great oppourtunity to build relationships and I hope to continue participating in things such as these in my future career.
I strive to be the best teacher I can be to ensure all my students are successful in school and in their every day lives.
